Any Size or Application, We’ve Got You Coated.

With over 250 standard models, we have booths that are well matched to any application.

We offer small walk-in powder coating booths for coating wheels and cycle frames, as well as larger powder booths for coating railing, machinery, or fence panels.

They’re also perfect for spraying large batches of parts. Reliant also manufactures large-scale powder coating booths for aviation and heavy equipment coating systems. Common powder coating booth options include VFD airflow control, solid or filtered doors, self-cleaning cartridge filtration, or affordable 3-stage filtration for spray-to-waste applications.

Custom sizes and configurations, integrated parts conveyors, automated powder spraying equipment, powder reclaim systems, and split-top designs are also available.

GET THE SIZE, FEATURES, AND AIRFLOW THAT ARE JUST RIGHT FOR THE WAY YOU SPRAY.

No matter what your finishing application, our powder spray booths can be sized and configured for your specific requirements. Our most common models come with rear-mounted filtration to keep your powder booth cabin clear of overspray. They’re perfect for most batch coating operations. If your coating line requires continuous process throughput or uses a linear work flow, we also provide crossflow and double-crossflow style spray booths. These ‘tunnel-style’ powder booths can be used for batch coating or can be equipped with manual guns or an automatic powder gun array and powered conveyor as part of an engineered finishing system. Contact one of our coating equipment experts today to discuss which configurations will provide the best solutions for your application.

Construction

The booth walls and roof are made of 18 gauge or thicker steel that has been G90 galvanized. The booth utilizes a single panel design. The walls and roof are connected via a track system. The booth is bolted together and the exhaust system is integrated into one or more of the booth’s walls. Threaded inserts in key parts help simplify assembly. No field welding is required.

Lighting

The spray enclosure includes roof-mounted high-output LED light fixtures. These fixtures are mounted on special panels that include factory-provided reinforcement. The light fixtures are mounted in the field over sheets of ¼” tempered safety glass that are sealed in place. The light fixtures are accessible only from the booth’s exterior.

Technical Specifications For Powder Spray Booths

Construction

The booth walls and roof are made of 18 gauge or thicker prime U.S. steel with a durable G90 galvanized finish. The booth utilizes a single panel design where the walls and roof are connected via a track system. The booth is bolted together and the exhaust system is integrated into one or more of the booth’s walls. Threaded inserts in key parts help simplify assembly. No field welding is required.

Lighting

Catalog spray enclosures include roof-mounted 2’ x 4’ light fixtures with bright, high-CRI LED bulbs. These fixtures are installed on special panels that include factory-provided reinforcement. The light fixtures are mounted in the field over sheets of ¼” tempered safety glass that are sealed in place. The light fixtures are accessible only from the booth’s exterior to prevent the use of troublesome safety switches.

Exhaust Units

The exhaust units are included in the exterior dimensions for the powder coating booths. Standard booths use either one or two floor-mounted exhaust units. The exhaust units with 3-stage filtration are constructed of primarily 16 gauge and 18 gauge G90 galvanized steel. These exhaust systems utilize belt-driven tubeaxial fans and include three-stage filter systems to draw air through the booth enclosure, filter out overspray, and return the air to the shop atmosphere. Each exhaust unit uses an ASHRAE/NESHAP type system consisting of a primary blanket filter, a set of polyester cube filters, and a set of rigid MERV 14 or higher final filters. The exhausts in standard Reliant powder coating booths are designed to draw air from the lower 1/3 of the wall of the booth, resulting in semi-downdraft airflow. Reliant powder spray booths ship with tackified 1” blanket type pre-filter media, 24” x 24” multi-ply polyester cube filters with metal frames, and 24” x 30” MERV 14+ final filters with rigid galvanized metal housings.

Control Panels

Reliant’s catalog powder booths are operated via premium control panels in NEMA rated enclosures. Our control panel allows the operator to stop and start the exhaust fan and turn the lights on and off. The control panel includes over-current protection. Upgraded models feature adjustable airflow via a VFD with a face-mounted airflow control knob. Booths with cartridge filtration automatically include VFD airflow adjustment, as well as upgraded controls that allow the operator to clean the primary filters using an integrated pulsed air cleaning system. The operator can choose between manual cleaning using a push button, automatic cleaning using a timer, or automatic cleaning based on the filter load detected by the control system.
